This is a video describing the updating process of the ED.X and NUCLEUS Device software. When you start your program, in case you are connected to the internet, the program automatically checks for updates available on our server. In case there is an update available, it will offer you the update for download. These are the steps for a successful update.
1) First you will get a message: “A new version is available” Click “Start download”
2) As a next step, You will get a new message stating: “Do not close any window or black pop-up until the “Update successful” message is displayed”. You have to do just that. The only option in this message is “OK”, so click on it, and start the actual download of the update.
3) The program will start downloading the updated files, you will see a progress bar of the process of the download, with the message “Update in progress”.
4) For a short time, there will be a black window popping up, the same as in the screenshot below. You don’t have to do anything. This is for the program to configure the new update into itself. Please, wait until it closes by itself. When it closes, you will know that the program has finished configuring the new update.
5) At the finish, you will receive a message stating that “Update successful, please restart the application”. By clicking OK, the program will close.
All you have to do now is open up your program and enjoy the benefits of the ED.X and NUCLEUS devices.
